How verification works
GetPicks uses Privy by Stripe as part of its account infrastructure. During verification, we confirm your identity and age using your government-issued ID along with a short face check. Most people are verified in minutes. The exact information required can vary if additional checks are needed.
Do I need to verify every time I play?
No. You won’t normally repeat the full identity check every time you build a lineup. GetPicks may request additional verification when needed to protect your account, confirm eligibility or complete certain account actions.
How your account is protected
Privy by Stripe powers account access, wallets and identity verification. Identity and location checks run alongside it to reduce fraudulent or unauthorized activity.
Keep access to your email, wallet and account credentials secure, and never share them with anyone.

How do I sign up?
GetPicks supports account access using supported signup methods such as email or wallet.
Why do you check my location?
GetPicks uses location controls to confirm that a player is physically located in an eligible jurisdiction. VPNs, proxies and other location-masking tools are screened during device and IP analysis.
How old do I need to be?
Nebraska requires players to be 19+. All other currently permitted GetPicks states require players to be 18+.
Can I play while traveling?
Eligibility is based on your physical location when you play. If you travel to a supported jurisdiction and pass location verification, you may be eligible to play. Real-money play is restricted when you are physically outside a supported jurisdiction.
I’m having trouble with my account
For verification or location issues, confirm that device location services are enabled and that GetPicks has permission to access your location. VPNs, proxies or other software that interferes with location detection may prevent verification. Still stuck? Email hello@getpicks.app.
